In addition to its business activities, Tamda Group also places great emphasis on minimizing waste and protecting the environment. After a period of cooperation with CHEP—a global company specializing in pallet rental with a system of sharing and reusing pallets for transportation or storage—this not only helps TAMDA achieve business efficiency but also save costs and protect natural resources.

Within just 12 months, Tamda Foods has contributed to achieving the following:

  • A reduction of 27,301 kg of CO2 emissions, equivalent to 24,933 km driven by a truck;
  • Saving 24,780 dm3 of wood, equating to saving 24 trees for timber;
  • Reducing waste by 2,466 kg, corresponding to the daily waste produced by 1,895 people.

Mr. Ing. VO VAN NAM, MSc., MBA., - Deputy Director of Tamda Group shared: “It is wonderful that Tamda Foods can help mitigate the negative impacts on the environment and demonstrate Tamda's shared commitment to sustainability. The benefits we see here are evidence of the power of the partnership between TAMDA and CHEP, showing what can be achieved when we work together towards a common goal.”

CHEP is a member company of the Brambles Group and operates in about 60 countries, with its largest operations in North America and Western Europe.

"We are extremely proud to be part of an important partnership with Tamda Foods and to achieve these great results together. Our top priority is sustainability, and we can contribute to protecting natural resources and reducing emissions while demonstrating the real value of reusing pallets. Thank you to the Tamda Foods team for their excellent collaboration and shared commitment to sustainability," said CHEP, a global pallet rental company.
